Christmas Parade Day

WELCOME TO A 'CHRISTMAS IN KINGMAN'

Shortcuts

Kingman's Lighted Christmas Parade is one of the most highly anticipated events in Kingman, KS each year. The Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce is gracious to have the opportunity to organize and run the event and a day's full of activities for you and the entire family to enjoy.

The parade and other activities take place each year on the 1st Saturday of December - Saturday, December 7th, 2024. In previous years, the Lighted Christmas Parade has had a theme in which floats would choose to incorporate in their design. Each year, the theme has been used less and less. Moving forward, there will no longer be a 'theme' for Kingman's Lighted Christmas Parade. It will now be a 'Christmas in Kingman' allowing participants to pick and choose their own 'theme' and not be limited on what they can and cannot do.

Christmas Parade Day 2023 was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who volunteered, sponsored, and attended our activities throughout the day! We can't wait to see you next year!

Not only does it take a lot of planning to put such a large community event together, it also takes volunteers and funding. The Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization. One unfortunate downside to this is our capabilities of raising funding -- being unable to apply for a majority of community grants and even Facebook fundraising, our options become limited

If you are a business or individual that would like to contribute to our event, please contact Shelby at the Chamber office for more information on how you can be involved (620) 532-1853 or thekingmanareachamber@gmail.com.

2024 Snow Prince & Princess

Say HELLO to this year's Snow Prince & Snow Princess are TWINS Josiah & Samira Arce!

As our honorary Snow Prince and Princess, they will get to perform their royal duties during Christmas Parade Day. They will draw the winners of our bike giveaway and FLIP the Switch raffle. They will also get to finish the night by personally visiting with Santa Claus and riding in the 31st Annual Lighted Christmas Parade.

THANK YOU to everyone who voted in our contest! And thank you to everyone who was a contestant! We hope to see you all this Saturday!
